  • The system went live on the 15th of February, they have 129 courses running over 319 different days.
  • In less than the two months it had been operational total bookings in the system were 2101.
  • The system is estimated to be saving Catholic Schools Office approximately 250 man hours per month. Equivalent to the salary of two full time employees.
  • The teachers require the ability to log into the system from school or from home to review what courses are available to them.
  • iRegister is hosted online within the world class data centre at Webcentral.
  • The login is via a secure server and requires a unique username and a password.
  • The Catholic Schools Office elected to use teacher email addresses for their username as this is unique to them and can be utilised to send booking confirmations.
  • 114 school principals also access to the system so that they can authorise their teaching staff to attend a course.
  • Once a teacher places a booking for a professional development course an email is automatically sent to their principal requesting authorisation.
  • For a company this would be to a manager requesting permission from a staff member to attend.
  • There are 18 course facilitators/educators who access the system to add their course information. An approval process is in place - they can see when their content is successful.
  • The course educator can see a list of attendees for their course;
  • The course educator can add their own course information to the system;
  • The course educator can see a list of past and future courses they have deployed;
  • The course educator can update their own details and passwords in the system;
  • Post course the course educator or admin person can tick if the attendee completed the course;
  • A forgotten password feature automatically sends users their login information;
  • System administrators have super user access;
  • iRegister can be deployed as a single module;
  • iRegister runs under a secure environment [HTTPS] so personal information is safeguarded;
